Instructions

  1. Pour the water with 400 ml milk in a saucepan, add sugar, cocoa powder, butter, cloves, star anise and cinnamon stick, bring to the boil and let steep for 1/4 hour (without boiling, simmering as little as possible).
  2. Then lift out the star anise, cloves and cinnamon stick with a spoon or pour the liquid through a sieve.
  3. Mix 100 ml milk and the starch or pudding powder with the whisk and pour into the boiling milk. Bring to the boil while stirring and pour directly from the pot into suitable containers.
  4. Let cool, enjoy warm or cold from the refrigerator.
