Instructions

  1. For the dough, stir the butter together with the salt, white and brown sugar to a creamy, smooth mass. Add the egg and vanilla sugar and mix in. Weigh out the flour and add gradually, stirring constantly, until a tough, sticky dough is formed. (If the bowl is turned upside down, nothing should fall out, similar to whipped cream!)
  2. Mix the brown sugar and cinnamon well in a bowl. Then shape small portions of the dough into balls (diameter approx. 4 cm) and roll them in the cinnamon sugar.
  3. Spread the balls about 10 cm apart on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake on the middle rack at 200 ° C for 6 to 8 minutes.
  4. After 6 minutes (recommendation) the biscuits are very juicy, after 8 minutes a bit drier, but better caramelized.
  5. The recipe makes about 30 cookies.
