Instructions

  1. Caramelize the sugar in a small saucepan. Add the nuts, stir and briefly toast. Deglaze immediately with the milk.
  2. Switch back to medium heat. Stir in the semolina and spices and let them swell until the semolina has a mushy consistency. Remove the semolina from the stove.
  3. Cut the orange into small pieces and fold into the porridge. You can also fillet them if you like.
  4. The spices and quantities can be varied as desired, e.g., you can use gingerbread spice or a ready-made spice sugar from the recipe database.
