Instructions

  1. Mix the margarine, eggs, cane sugar and salt until foamy (please whip for a little longer, as the cane sugar is more difficult to dissolve). Add the flour and remaining ingredients. Fill up with the liquids and process into a smooth wafer batter.
  2. Pour approx. 2 tablespoons of batter into a lightly greased waffle iron and bake for about 3 minutes until golden brown. Then leave to cool on a wire rack. Sprinkle with powdered sugar to taste. A pleasure with hot sour cherries!
