Instructions

  1. Salt the chicken pieces on both sides. Sprinkle the lower side with the chilli powder and cinnamon. Brush the skin side with a mixed mixture of 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar, 1 tablespoon honey and 1 tablespoon cinnamon as well as some chili powder. Let rest for 10 minutes.
  2. Drain some oil in a roasting pan and fry the meat in it. Finally, put the skin side up. Add the onions and sauté with salt and pepper. Pour in the mulled wine.
  3. Braise in the preheated oven on the lower rack for 1 hour at 170 ° C. Then remove the chicken pieces.
  4. Thicken the sauce a little and mix with 1 tablespoon of sour cream.
  5. Put the chicken pieces back in and, with the oven switched off, let them steep in the sauce for another 15 minutes.
  6. This goes well with potato noodles, spaetzle or dumplings and red cabbage.
