Instructions

  1. Mix flour, sugar, eggs, and salt in a large bowl.
  2. Add roughly half the milk and stir for 2 minutes until the batter is smooth.
  3. Gradually add the remaining milk while stirring constantly until fully combined.
  4. Drain the cherries thoroughly and stir them into the batter.
  5. Grease a medium casserole dish with fat.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared dish.
  7. Bake at 200°C (392°F) for 35 minutes until set.
  8. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
