Mix the flour, eggs, sugar and salt together. Add a little milk and stir again until the batter becomes smooth. Gradually add the rest of the milk. Then stir in the well-drained cherries. Place in a medium-sized casserole dish and bake at 200 degrees for about 35 minutes. Then sprinkle with powdered sugar.
With cream or vanilla ice cream.
Tip: Don`t get irritated by the fact that the dough is very runny, it has to be. If you have too sour cherries from the garden, you simply take more sugar and the cake is fantastic.
