Put the milk and the roughly chopped chocolate in a saucepan. Turn the stove to the highest setting and bring the chocolate to the boil while stirring.
Distribute the hot chocolate between the cups and add a teaspoon of sugar per cup. Garnish with whipped cream if you like.
