Soak the plate lentils in 1 1/2 l of water overnight.
Bring the lentils and pork belly and the spices to the boil with 3/4 l of soaking water, simmer on a low heat for approx. 40 minutes, then add the vegetables, but without the potatoes, and simmer for another 20 minutes, then the Add the diced potatoes and simmer for another 20 minutes.
About 10 minutes before the end of the cooking time, cut the sausages into slices and add them. Season to taste with salt, pepper and vinegar.
Serve the vinegar at the table so that everyone can add seasoning to their taste.
