Mix the butter, sugar and salt until frothy. Stir in eggs one after the other, beat until frothy. Mix the flour, desiccated coconut and baking powder. Alternately mix in 100 ml coconut milk and the flour mixture. Put everything in a greased loaf pan and bake in a preheated oven at 175 degrees (150 fan-assisted) for about 60 minutes. Let the cake cool down well.
For the topping, mix 50 ml coconut milk and powdered sugar. Lightly roast coarse coconut flakes in a pan (without fat) and sprinkle on top of the still moist glaze.
