Mix coconut milk and water. Depending on how liquid you want the semolina you want to use a little more water. If the mixture with 400 ml of water is still too greasy for you, you can use a little more water.
Add the lemon peel and / or vanilla to the saucepan with sugar and, if necessary, bring everything to a boil.
Sprinkle in the semolina, bring to the boil again while stirring and allow to swell over a low heat.
Serve the semolina with cinnamon and sugar or fruit sauce - we prefer red berries or applesauce.
