Fill each cup 3/4 full with strong coffee. Add a few pieces of fresh peel of an unsprayed orange, add a dash of liqueur or cognac and put the icing on the coffee.
Serve with a slice of orange for guests.
If you like, you can also squeeze the orange and add a little juice to the coffee - then you shouldn`t add orange liqueur, but cognac, otherwise it will simply be too “orange”.
In the original, the hint of orange flavor reaches through the bowls and it is seasoned with cognac - the idea with the orange liqueur only came up when the corresponding liqueur advertised orange with the recipe for coffee.
Maybe just experiment with the more discreet original recipe.
