  1. Put the water with sugar, vanilla sugar, vanilla pod and pearl sago in a saucepan and bring to the boil. When the liquid starts to boil, turn the temperature to the lowest level and simmer gently for about 20 minutes, stirring constantly (important, otherwise it will burn!). The pearl sago gradually swells up and the soup slowly becomes creamy.
  2. Only then add the fruit and let the fruit soup simmer for another 5 minutes. Serve chilled.
  3. An ideal dish for warm summer days.
