Instructions

  1. Thoroughly squeeze the lemon and half an orange and pour the juice of both into a large glass or cup (approx. 500 ml capacity). Then cut the ginger into thin strips or pieces and cut the mint leaves once so that they can better release their oils and aromas in the hot water. Then put the ginger, mint and the green tea in a tea strainer, an appropriately sized tea infuser or a tea bag (coffee filter would also work) and pour everything in the cup with 350 ml of hot, no longer boiling water.
  2. Let everything stand for 5 - 6 minutes and then take out the tea strainer. If necessary, sweeten with a little honey.
  3. Alternative for bargain hunters: Not so fresh, but if you don`t have ginger, mint and / or fresh fruit at home or don`t want to afford it, you can use the following as an alternative:
  4. 100 ml lemon juice (not concentrate!), 50 ml not-from-concentrate orange juice, 1 bag of green tea, 1 bag of ginger tea, 1 bag of mint tea.
