Scald tomatoes briefly with hot water until the skin bursts and then peel them. Chop the tomatoes into large pieces and place in a tall container. Finely chop the garlic cloves and add to the tomatoes with the olive oil. Add chopped basil leaves, sugar, salt, pepper and mix briefly with the hand blender so that the ingredients are just mixed. The sauce can be a bit chunky.
Mix the seasoned sauce with the scorching hot spaghettini and serve immediately.
With this sauce, it is very important that the tomatoes are fully ripe and of good quality. The olive oil should also be of good quality, because this is the only way to guarantee a good taste.
