First stir in the salad dressing made from mustard, oil and vinegar, squeeze and add the garlic and season everything well. Since the other ingredients absorb a lot of the seasoning, the sauce can taste a bit over-seasoned at first.
Peel the eggs and chop them into pieces. Cut the beefsteak tomatoes and cucumber into pieces. Spring onions in rolls.
Put everything in the bowl with the mustard sauce, mix the ingredients well and let it steep. We eat jacket potatoes with salt and caraway seeds.
The ingredients can be varied according to your own preferences. I also often add chives and tender onion pieces. A tablespoon of tomato paste also goes well with the sauce.
