Instructions

  1. First let the low-fat quark drain well - use the whey for other purposes. In the meantime, read out the flowers, clean them, if necessary wash carefully / pat dry, pluck the colored flowers or petals from the green calyxes and if necessary chop them roughly. Roughly chop the herbs as well. Prepare all 5 colors on a plate or something.
  2. Then mix the quark with the parmesan, season to taste / season to taste and divide into 5 portions. Remove small amounts of each serving with a teaspoon, roll into a ball in moistened hands and roll / turn in the flowers or herbs. If necessary, spread the remaining flowers and herbs as a bed on a plate and arrange the balls on top. If there are no flowers left, you can simply use whole lettuce or herb leaves as a bed.
  3. You can of course also use other edible flowers - e.g., pansy, lady`s mantle, spiced tagetes, nasturtium, corn poppy, mullein, cornflower, mallow, fruit tree blossoms, marigold, rosemary, sage, wood sorrel, yarrow, cowslip, chives, mustard, sunflower, mosquito, thyme, violet, forget-me-not . Ä.
  4. If you want to save a little time, instead of quark + parmesan, simply take about 500 g of ready-made cream cheese (pure or herbs) - and roll it as balls in the flowers.
