The recipe is designed for a 5.7 l CrockPot / Slowcooker.
First fry the minced meat in a pan until crumbly, then sweat the onion with translucent glass towards the end. Pour off the resulting fat as best as possible and place the meat in the ceramic pot. Now add the remaining ingredients except for the salt and the Tabasco and mix everything well. Cover. The braising time is approx. 4 - 5 hours at the highest level (HIGH) or 8 - 9 hours at the lowest level (LOW).
