Cut the ham sausage into cubes and fry in a pan with a little oil. Also dice the onions and add. When the ham sausage has a nice color and the onions are translucent, finely chop the garlic and add.
Transfer everything into a large saucepan. Cut the peppers into small pieces and add to the ham sausage. Add the tomato paste and deglaze with water. All ingredients should be covered. Now season the whole thing as you like. Rinse the corn kernels and add them as well.
Stir everything and let simmer gently for about 15-20 minutes. Stir every now and then. Finally, season to taste and serve with pasta.
