Instructions

  1. Mash the feta with a fork or mash it in a shallow bowl with a potato masher (works very well with mine). Dice the onion very small. Mash garlic with the press, some like it more or less. Squeeze the lemon.
  2. Mix everything together in a bowl and season a little more with salt and pepper. Be careful with the salt, as some feta is pickled very salty. Fold in the chives (can also be used with other herbs) and it`s done. Then put in a cool place.
  3. Personally, I always do double or even quadruple as I don`t have half a lemon and my friends are addicted to them.
  4. Also called things because we didn`t have a name for it at first.
