Instructions

  1. Put on a saucepan with water and bring to a boil. Cut and wash fresh broccoli or prepare frozen broccoli. Salt the boiling water, add the broccoli and simmer for about 2 - 4 minutes. Skim off the broccoli, let cool briefly and chop finely.
  2. Pour a little broccoli water on the couscous, season with 1 teaspoon of vegetable stock powder and let it soak for about two minutes. Fold in the chopped broccoli and grated cheese and mix with the beaten egg to a kneadable mass. Season to taste. Divide the mixture by five and shape the patties about the size of the palm of your hand and about 1 cm thick.
  3. Heat some oil in a pan and fry the patties until golden brown on both sides.
