Our family is very fond of crab salad, but when it gets boring, you can try to make a crab cake – the ingredients are almost the same and the taste is similar, so that’s just for a change.
We take a crab stick, carefully unfold it as shown in the photo – so that it becomes like a pancake.
On an unfolded crab stick, spread a thin layer of the filling of our salad, which consists of boiled rice mixed with mayonnaise, grated eggs and pickled cucumbers on a medium grater, and small pieces of salmon.
Actually, we continue the procedure in a similar way, applying layer by layer – a sheet of crab stick, a layer of filling, a sheet of crab stick, filling, and so on. As a result, you will get a beautiful layer cake, which needs to be infused for several hours before serving it to the table.
