Instructions

  1. Peel the onions and cut into thin strips. Fry in the oil for 10 minutes until light brown.
  2. Just before the end, add the sugar and let it caramelize slightly. Deglaze with port wine and balsamic vinegar and add stock powder and cranberries.
  3. Simmer on a low flame for about 30 minutes. If necessary, add wine.
  4. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
