Wash the herring, dry lightly with kitchen paper, cut into bite-sized pieces and put in a bowl.
Peel the onion and apple, dice very finely and add to the fish. Mix the cream, crème fraîche dill tips and salad herbs and add to the fish, onions and apple. Stir everything well.
This goes well with potatoes, boiled or fried potatoes. Also tastes very good as a topping on bread or rolls and is ideal for a cold buffet.
