Cook the potatoes in their skins until they are cooked and leave to cool. In the meantime, cut the onion, apple, pickles and the cream herring into small pieces.
Refine the cream sauce with buttermilk, sour cream, salad cream, vegetable stock, salt and pepper. Add the chopped vegetables to the cream sauce and serve with jacket potatoes.
A quick and inexpensive meal. If you peel the potatoes, dice them and add them to the other ingredients, you have a delicious salad.
