Let the butter soften outside of the refrigerator. Then mix well in a bowl with the cream cheese and the peeled and very finely pressed garlic using a hand mixer. Finally season to taste.
Both as a side dish for grilling and wonderful as a spread with fresh bread or baguette as a starter.
