Instructions

  1. First cook the spelled in salted water according to the instructions on the packet. I like to add a clove of garlic cut into strips and spices, such as chilli, to the water.
  2. In the meantime, wash the tomatoes and then cut them into small pieces. Remove the seeds in the process. Then season with salt and pepper. Cut the sun-dried tomatoes into strips and dice the feta. Put both aside.
  3. When the spelled is done, drain off the excess water, being careful not to drain the garlic with it. Then return to the stove over medium heat. Stir the fresh tomatoes into the spelled and fry everything lightly for about a minute. Then stir in the cream cheese, sun-dried tomatoes and feta and leave on the stove for another 1-2 minutes, stirring again and again so that nothing burns. With salt, pepper and Season the spices and herbs to taste.
  4. Finally, if necessary, fold the fresh, chopped parsley into the spelled and serve.
  5. If you want your spelled even creamier, you can also use more cream cheese. The dish can also be varied very easily and deliciously, e.g. with other types of cheese or vegetables or nuts and dried fruit, depending on what you like or what you have on hand.
