Make a hot marinade from the spices and oil. Work with more or less cayenne pepper, depending on your taste. Peel and quarter the onion.
Now wash the chicken thoroughly and dry it with kitchen paper. Then brush with the marinade, better massage in by hand. Pour the quartered onion into the chicken.
Now carefully place the chicken on the chicken seat, being careful not to let the onion fall out (it is best to close the opening of the chicken with roulade needles so that the onion cannot fall out during cooking). Place the chicken seat on a fat pan or in a baking dish and pour a cup of water into the pan.
Place in the preheated oven and cook for about 45 minutes.
Then take them out of the oven, cut them up and serve.
