How to make crostini with brie cheese, pomegranate, and walnuts:
Cut the baguette into 25 thin slices. Melt half of the butter. Brush each baguette slice with melted butter. Place on a wire rack and brown in the oven until golden brown.
Prepare your nuts. They need to be cut into large pieces. Add the remaining butter and sugar to the skillet. Melt over medium heat.
Add walnuts. Stir and cook for about 1 to 2 minutes until caramelized.
Put the caramelized nuts on parchment oiled with vegetable oil.
Peel the brie cheese. Cut into thin strips. Place on croutons. Place in a hot oven for 3-4 minutes, until the cheese melts.
Garnish with walnuts on top of the cheese sandwiches.
Sprinkle the pomegranate seeds over the crostini and serve.
