Instructions

  1. First you prepare the dough for the base: Mix the flour, baking powder, sugar and whisked eggs (keep the rest of one egg for the crumble). Gradually add the warm butter. Then add the flavors and spices. Knead everything well with your hand or a hand mixer until you can form a smooth ball of dough out of it. Then let the dough rest for ten minutes.
  2. In the meantime you can make the crumble by mixing the flour, sugar, butter and the rest of the egg - ideally with the blender. The result should be a loose mass from which you can - if you like - form small or large sprinkles.
  3. The fruit should now be prepared bite-sized - depending on the choice and type, core and peel.
  4. The dough for the base is rolled out a little on baking paper. Then you put it on a baking sheet and press the bottom firmly with your hand. Then distribute the fruit on the floor and sprinkle the crumble on top. When the entire topping is covered, sprinkle a mixture of sugar and cinnamon over it.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 ° C for approx. 20 - 30 minutes.
  6. Tip: For cherries and plums, I recommend replacing some of the sugar with almond syrup or marzipan - it works great!
