Instructions

  1. Peel and dice the onions and garlic, set aside separately. Put the beans in a colander, rinse and drain thoroughly. Remove any bad leaves from the cabbage, cut in half and weigh, 250 g are required for this dish. Cut the cabbage into pieces approx. 1.5 x 1.5 cm. Peel the sweet potato and cut it into pieces / cubes approx. 1.5 x 1.5 cm.
  2. Heat the pan and sauté the onions in a little olive oil until light brown, this takes about 5 minutes, add the garlic and sauté briefly. The garlic shouldn`t take color. Add the tomatoes, the savoy cabbage, the sweet potatoes, basil and oregano as well as a little salt, mix, bring to the boil and simmer with the lid on for about 12-15 minutes. The savoy cabbage should still have a bit of bite. So try early enough. Finally mix in the drained beans. Leave on the stove for another minute so that the beans get hot. Season the finished dish with salt and pepper.
