Stir the yeast, sugar and oil into the warm milk. Pour the whole thing into the flour. Knead the dough intensively. Place in a saucepan, cover with a cloth and lid and place in a warm place for approx. 60 - 70 minutes.
Knead the dough again intensively and roll it out on a thin layer of flour about 2 mm thick. Then cut into 2 cm x 2 cm squares.
Fry the pieces in hot oil in portions until golden. Turn them more often and don`t let them get too dark, otherwise they will be too dry and hollow on the inside. After removing, sprinkle with powdered sugar. Serve warm.
