Instructions

  1. For the dough, knead the flour, pieces of butter, egg, sugar, orange zest and vanilla sugar into a smooth dough. Cover and chill for at least 30 minutes. Preheat the oven to 200 ° C.
  2. For the filling, peel, core and roughly dice the apples, then mix with the lemon juice. Roll out about two thirds of the dough on foil. Cover the bottom and the edge of a greased springform pan with it. Roughly crumble the amarettini and spread on the dough. Layer the apples on top. Roll out the remaining dough, cover the cake with it and press the edges firmly. Bake in the oven until golden for 35 to 40 minutes.
  3. After cooling, dust with powdered sugar.
