Instructions

  1. Grind walnuts, coarsely chop the biscuits, finely grate the chocolate.
  2. Mix eggs, 200 g sugar and vanilla sugar until creamy. Stir in eggnog and oil. Fold in the flour, baking powder and walnuts. Divide the dough. Fold the pastry crumbs under half of the dough. Pour into a wreath cake tin that has been greased and sprinkled with breadcrumbs. Sift the cocoa powder onto the rest of the batter and stir in together with the grated chocolate. Now place this dough on the light half of the dough and fold in a spiral with a fork.
  3. Bake the cake in a preheated oven at 150 ° C (top / bottom heat: 175 ° C) for approx. 60 minutes.
  4. Let the cake cool down a bit and turn it out of the tin. Drizzle with freshly squeezed orange juice (if possible) and let cool down completely.
