Instructions

  1. Season the mince with the salt and fry it thoroughly; Sweat the onions and mix them together. Then add the diced vegetables.
  2. Then fry the garlic until golden in olive oil and add to the mince. Fill up the mixture with the peeled tomatoes, then add the espresso and cocoa. If the amount gets too thick, you can use chicken broth to dilute.
  3. Let the chilli cook through until the vegetables are soft. Then season with chilli, oregano and Tabasco depending on the degree of spiciness you want.
  4. A dash of creme fraiche and chopped coriander are suitable as a decoration for serving. Tacos, wheat tortillas, roasted potatoes or bread are ideal as a side dish to the chilli.
