Instructions

  1. First put on the jacket potatoes. Just put it in water and let it boil. They are ready when you pierce them with a fork and the potatoes no longer stick to the fork. This takes about 15-20 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, peel the cucumber and cut into pieces.
  3. Fry the ham in a little oil in a large saucepan, just briefly. Then add the canned tomatoes with the sugar. Immediately afterwards the sliced cucumber. Let it all cook until the cucumbers are tender. Stir again and again in between. Personally, I like it when the cucumbers have a very light bite.
  4. You`re done - no salt, no pepper, no additional liquid, the cucumbers and ham will do the job.
  5. Tips:
  6. I always squeeze the jacket potatoes into puree and mix it on the plate.
  7. If you feel like it, you can add a few meatballs. Personally, it tastes extremely tasty even without it.
