Peel the cucumber and slice it. Put in a bowl and sprinkle with salt (not too little). Let it steep for about 30 minutes.
Then pour 5 tablespoons of oil and 3 tablespoons of vinegar over it. Pepper and sugar (to taste). Fill up a little with tap water. Mix in the finely chopped parsley and dill. Let it go through again briefly.
I usually prepare the cucumber salad to my taste, so no quantities are possible here. Just take it as a template and vary according to your own taste.
