Instructions

  1. Peel the cucumber and cut in half lengthways; remove the seeds with a spoon. Then cut into crescent moons approx. 2 cm thick.
  2. Cut the bacon into small cubes and leave in a pan over medium heat. Add the butter. Finely chop an onion, add to the pan and fry. Add the cucumber pieces and season with salt and pepper. Fry the cucumber and deglaze with the chicken stock. Let simmer for about 10-15 minutes, depending on how soft or firm you like the cucumber.
  3. To thicken, knead one part each of the flour and butter with a fork. Add enough to the cucumber vegetables until everything is creamy, simmer briefly. Add the chopped dill, turn off the stove.
  4. When it stops boiling, add the sour cream, season to taste and serve!
