Instructions

  1. Mix the quark (if necessary, drain off the settled whey) with the eggs, oat flakes, semolina and salt and leave to swell for about 20 minutes.
  2. Heat some oil in a pan (preferably coated). Shape around 10 pancakes or patties with wet hands and fry them brown on both sides.
  3. In addition, e.g., fruit sauce, applesauce, stewed plums, vanilla sauce, sweetened strawberries, fruit groats, etc.
  4. Remarks:
  5. Since there is something fruity and sweet to go with it, we don`t need any sugar in the buffers. But if you like, you can also stir in 1-2 tablespoons of honey or sugar. Depending on the addition, you can also add some lemon peel, 1-2 tablespoons of raisins, a pinch of cinnamon or something to the quark mixture - but none of this is necessary.
  6. As a dessert, this amount is enough for 4-5 servings - then maybe form smaller buffers.
