Add flour and baking powder. Knead a homogeneous, not too sticky dough (if the curd is wet, you may need more flour).
Divide the dough in two, roll into “sausages” and cut into small pieces.
Roll into balls the size of a walnut from the pieces of dough.
In a saucepan, stewpan, or deep skillet, heat so much vegetable oil over medium heat so that the donuts are completely immersed in it. Spread the curd donuts in the heated oil and fry until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes, turning them constantly.
Put the finished curd donuts on paper towels to drain excess oil, cool, and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
