A thick pear and curd smoothie that looks more like a delicate mousse than a drink. It is very simple and quick to prepare. An uncomplicated dessert made of cottage cheese and pears is set off by an interesting taste and texture that poppy seeds give to the dish.
Peel the pears and cut them into large pieces. I didn’t peel because it’s quite soft. If you like a smoother mass of dessert, peel the fruit.
In a dry skillet without oil, fry the poppy seeds over medium heat for about 3-5 minutes. Add chopped pears.
Pour in sugar, stir. Fry the pears, stirring occasionally, until soft. Finally, add vanillin (or vanilla sugar), stir again.
Conference pears became soft after 15 minutes. Stir occasionally to prevent the fruit from burning. Cool the pear jam. Place cottage cheese and pear confiture in a blender bowl. Save a few pears for garnish.
Use a hand blender to puree the ingredients. The consistency turned out to be quite thick. If you want to make the smoothie thinner, add yogurt, sour cream, or kefir.
Pour the resulting dessert into glasses. Top with caramelized pears. Serve well chilled. Thick – with a spoon, liquid – with a straw.
A fragrant, sweet, delicate dessert will perfectly complete your meal.
