Scatter the powdered sugar on the worktop, pour the marzipan on it and knead with the pistachios. Then roll out using the powdered sugar. Cut the nougat into about 15 small pieces and wrap the marzipan around them to make small balls. Freeze these for at least 45 minutes.
In the meantime, prepare the dough. Mix or knead all the ingredients together and let the dough rest for a while.
Then wrap the marzipan balls with the batter. Bring lightly salted water to the boil in a saucepan and let the dumplings steep for approx. 5 - 10 minutes.
Fry breadcrumbs in butter in a pan and briefly turn the finished dumplings. Serve hot immediately.
