Sweets can be not only tasty but also healthy. I propose to cook and enjoy cottage cheese sweets. A prune with a nut is hidden inside each candy, and coconut flakes are added for more aroma and taste. Preparing such sweets is incredibly simple, even a novice cook can handle it!

Curd Sweets with Prunes, Nuts, and Coconut Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients.
The weight of prunes and nuts is given more as a guide, as it can be analyzed depending on the selected nuts and the dryness of the prunes.
You can take any nuts for cooking that are at hand. I cooked with cashews and walnuts.

  2. Prepare the prunes first. Fill it with hot water and leave for 5-10 minutes. Drain the water, sort out the prunes (there are even tails and fragments of bones inside). Place the prunes on paper towels to dry. If the prunes are very dry, boil them for 3-5 minutes to soften.
  3. Combine curd, sugar, and vanilla sugar in a bowl.
  4. Stir thoroughly with a whisk, mixer, or hand blender to dissolve the sugar.
  5. Add half the coconut flakes.
  6. Mix thoroughly with a spatula or spoon. Set aside for 5 minutes.
  7. In the meantime, fill the prunes with nuts.
  8. Shape the candies. To do this, take 1 heaped teaspoon of curd mass, roll it into a ball and press the prunes and nuts inside. Form a ball again and roll the candy over the remaining coconut.
  9. So shape all the candies. I got 12 candies.
  10. Cottage cheese sweets with prunes, nuts, and coconut can be served immediately after cooking.
    Bon Appetit!
