Instructions

  1. Wash the currants, remove the stems and extract the juice (e.g. with a Mr. Magic juicer or standard steam juicer).
  2. If you don`t have all of these aids, you can briefly boil the currants with 250 ml of water. Allow to cool slightly. Pour off the resulting juice and set aside. Squeeze the berries through a linen cloth. Those who shy away from work can also use finished currant juice (e.g. from Natreen), which of course also shortens the specified preparation time. Makes about 600 ml of juice.
  3. Wash and stone 4 large nectarines and cut into small cubes. Add to the currant juice. Add a teaspoon of vanilla flavor and fill up with diabetic sparkling wine up to 1.2 liters. Add 500 g of diet gelling sugar. Stir well and bring to a boil. Let simmer for about 4 minutes, stirring constantly. Then pour hot into prepared jars and close them tightly immediately.
  4. Store in a cool, dark place until eaten.
  5. Makes about 7 glasses of 0.25 liters each.
