Instructions

  1. Cut 4 bananas into slices and sauté them with the onions in a little margarine or butter. Add the curry powder and deglaze with the vegetable stock. Top up with the cream and milk and then season again with curry powder, sugar and salt. Let the soup simmer for 10 minutes, stirring constantly. Then puree with the hand blender and pass through a sieve.
  2. Divide 2 bananas into 4 equal pieces each. Sauté the bacon in a dry pan without fat. Then roll up a piece of banana evenly in a strip of bacon.
  3. Put the banana rolls in a lightly greased casserole dish and heat in the oven to grill level until just before serving.
  4. Distribute a banana roll on each of the soup plates. Briefly whip the heated soup again with the hand blender until frothy and then distribute it on the plates.
  5. Note: The soup is quite powerful, so the portions as a starter shouldn`t be that big.
