Peel the onions and cut into rings. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the onion rings until they are light colored. Add the water and the curry ketchup. Add the meat stock, season with curry powder and stir well. Bring the sauce to the boil and simmer openly for about 5 minutes.
Heat some oil in a second pan and fry the sausages for 5 - 7 minutes. Now season the sauce with salt, pepper and possibly some curry powder. Arrange the sausage and sauce on plates, sprinkle with the chives and serve.
Fried potatoes or French fries are best served as a side dish.
