Ingredients

For the dough:

• 350 g almond (s), unpeeled, finely round
• 250 g powdered suar
• 1 tablespoon, leveled cinnamon
• 2 egg whites

For painting:

• 1 egg white
• 150 g powdered suar
• Icing sugar to cut out

Instructions

1. Mix the almonds, powdered sugar and cinnamon. Add 2 egg whites, stir in with the dough hook of the hand mixer, knead well with your hands.
2. Roll out the dough in portions between two cling films, approx. 1 cm thick. Cut out stars with the cookie cutter (dipping more often in powdered sugar in between). Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
3. Beat one egg white until stiff, gradually add powdered sugar, continue beating. Brush the stars with it. Bake at 150 degrees (preheated, fan-assisted) for approx. 10 - 12 minutes. Take out and let cool on wire rack.
