Knead the spelled flour, low-fat quark, butter and beet syrup together. Chill the dough for at least an hour.
Meanwhile puree the dates and grate the nuts. Knead the nuts, dates and the egg together.
Roll out the dough into a 10 cm wide strip. Spread the date and nut mixture on top and then close the dough around the filling. Cut the roll into slices. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the slices on top.
Bake in the preheated oven at 170 ° C for approx. 12-15 minutes.
