Put the margarine in a large saucepan, let it get hot and sweat the onion cubes in it. Don`t let it get brown! Add the minced meat and fry until crumbly, stirring constantly. Now add the green beans, the potato cubes, the savory, the roast stock and the beef soup powder and fill up with about 900 ml of water. The ingredients should be covered with liquid up to 1 cm above it.
Bring to the boil and simmer gently for 20 minutes. Season to taste with smoked salt and possibly beef consommé powder.
A cheese roll or a freshly baked cheese bread tastes delicious with it.
