Warm the milk and crumble in the yeast. Add the sugar and let the mixture swell for about 10 minutes. Then add the remaining ingredients and knead everything into a smooth dough. Let it rest for about 20 minutes.
Then divide the dough into thirds and shape into baguettes. Place on a baking sheet or a greased baguette tray and let rise for another 15 minutes. The baguettes are then baked at 200 degrees for about 25 minutes.
Before going for the last time, I cut it at an angle and spray it with water. They rise wonderfully and taste delicious.
