Clean the beans. Peel, wash and dice the potatoes. Clean the soup greens and cut into strips.
Finely dice the bacon and leave it in a large saucepan. Add the beans, potatoes and soup greens. Pour in the water, bring to the boil and add the vegetable stock. Let the soup simmer over low heat for approx. 20-30 minutes (until beans and potatoes are soft).
If you like, you can make the soup even tastier with 1 tablespoon vinegar essence and a little sugar. Otherwise, just season with salt and pepper and add the savory. Serve hot.
